Customer Security Notice: AI Agents and Your Bank Accounts

As artificial intelligence (AI) technology continues to evolve, some AI-powered tools and digital assistants may request access to your bank accounts to review balances, analyze transactions, make payments, or initiate other financial activities. The Bank does not recommend sharing your online banking credentials with AI agents or granting account access to third-party AI tools that may be subject to different privacy, security, and data-handling practices than those maintained by the Bank. Here are some ways to Protect Your Accounts:

Keep your credentials confidential. Never share your online banking username, password, PIN, or one-time verification codes with an AI agent or an unverified third party.
Review access permissions carefully. Understand what information an AI tool can access and whether it can initiate transfers, make payments, or perform other transactions.
Use trusted services. Verify the identity, security practices, and authorization of any service requesting access to your financial accounts.
Monitor your accounts regularly. Review transactions and account alerts for suspicious or unauthorized activity.
Revoke access when appropriate. Remove third-party permissions you no longer need, where applicable.
Contact us promptly if you suspect fraud. If you believe your account credentials have been compromised or notice an unauthorized transaction, contact the bank immediately using a verified telephone number.
